I remember when having AOL meant you were legit. When I was old enough to get it myself I had free AOL for 2 years. I'd tell you how I did it but it's irrelevant now :/
Looney tunes! That was the one Cartoon show I always loved as a child. The Road Runner and Coyote was the best and the crazy contraptions the Coyote used where amazing. Thanks for posting this.
Holy crap! Mouse trap?! I loved that game even though I could never get it set up properly. Anyone else have that problem? Also, AOL?! Haha, man I'm nostalgia-ing hard. I remember when my family first moved over from AOL, we were like "WHAT?! How does this work? You just open a...browser? Uhhh fuck that."
Man, I'm so glad everyone stopped using AOL. Also, I had Mousetrap but never actually played the game -- just set up all the props and watch them go :)
hahaha, I remember loading up AOL in windows 3.1 on an old 14.4k connection. took at least 2 minutes just to connect, and after that it was still slow as balls
I had a friend who had AOL. We used to play pranks on tech support, who were so used to interacting with total technical neophytes that they would respond to our extravagant and preposterous stories and questions in a hilariously serious and straight-faced manner. I should get round to finding and posting our archives of those conversations some day …
